Balancing Business and Family

Owning a business is both challenging and rewarding. Today, we want to focus on the art of balancing business and family.

Often times we look to local businesses to give the community what they want and when they want it. Besides, that's what they signed up for right? Well, it's important to remember that business owners have families as well, and their personal lives have to be considered. For us at Java Werks, we understand the commitment that we've made to our beloved Hattiesburg community and we want nothing more than to satisfy our guests, loyal customers, and friends. That said, we sacrifice a lot of family time to make sure Java Werks is running smoothly.

Recently, we closed down on Sunday so that we could spend time with our children. It was something we went back and forth with but ultimately decided it was best for our family, and it was. That break forced us to remember what is important in life. Family time is something you can't get back, so we want to encourage everyone to take advantage of the time you spend with your family. We also want to thank the Hattiesburg community for supporting us and being open-minded. We support the community, and the community supports us. That's how it should be. That's how it is. We are so thankful for every single one of you. Cheers to learning how to balance business and family!
